who is afraid of red, blue, and yellow? was presented by Reiffers Art Initiatives as the fourth exhibition of the Reiffers Initiatives Mentorship Programme. On this occasion, Tarek Lakhrissi was chosen from a group of emerging artists proposed by the Reiffers Art Initiatives’ Artistic Committee. Ugo Rondinone served as Lakhrissi’s mentor for their duo show, which opened during Art Basel Paris in October 2024.
Exploring the dialogue between their individual styles and works, who is afraid of red, blue, and yellow? blended Rondinone’s large-scale sculptures with Lakhrissi’s visual poetry. The exhibition unfolded across three colour-drenched rooms, emphasising different emotions and feelings that could be stirred up through a simple hue or word, guiding visitors on a journey through the human experience.
